Need some help won't rev out while riding

Ok just done a top end rebuild on a 2004 blaster for a friend... Starts runs revs fine but when I go to ride it will rev hard till maybe half throttle and just Boggs out.... Getting ready to pull carb back off and go through it again.... But this quad has b1 pipe (Rooney I believe) dmf silencer vforce reeds. And actually installed new cylinder and piston. How was the leak test after the rebuild, heat cycles and cylinder re-torque. What main jet are you running for the Toomey pipe.
