So I hate the cut out fender on the rear but am also not a fan of cut fenders either. I'm tossing around ideas about how to take up the space.

I started by building a backing plate out of plastic using a heat gun to match folds.

I then used a peice of alumuinum and bent it over the front. This was just a spare peice I had so fitment isn't quite right plus I just bent it by hand and with an auto body hammer. But am thinking if people think it looks good I would build a mold to bang them out on and wrap edges then match both sides while still being able to use stock fender brackets and not cut the fender. Plus boot wear against fender would be cut down.

Trying to get some feedback here .... any suggestions would help

I like the look of the aluminum one but I would be afraid it would get REALLY scratched up and ugly looking quick both from slipped kick starts and stuff being thrown up from the tire.

The plastic ones don't look as good to start off with but don't show damage/bumps and bruises NEARLY as easily.

It was actually two peice, the plastic is a backing plate and the fender sandwiches inbetween. I was thinking that it would get hella worn to but I am at a loss currently rather than just leaving the ugliness.....lol. I don't think my kicker would cause problem as it still sits higher than my GYTR heels

I was at the same crossroads last month. I ended up posting a wanted post for the stock heel guard and plastic pieces. Dakotademon hooked me up with some that were a little broken (not too bad) which I trimmed slightly and installed.

I'm with you on not liking the cut fender look OR the gaping hole that's left if you don't have the heel guards and plastic pieces.

I thought about trying to make something but was at a loss about what material to start with. I like the black plastic piece. What is it?

It started as the bottom of a rubbermaid storage box, cut it how I liked, then used a heat gun on the back to put bend in. It actually looks ok and takes up the flap, I was just trying to brainstorm further. I might just do the same and cut a stock one, theres always some floating around on ebay My main deal is I'm trying to get them to look good with the heels I fabbed on and was gonna try somethin different.

i cut my stock heel guard and filled the space in that way. not the best, but no ugly space there now.

I made a red radiator shroud out of a rubbermaid container before. I don't recall seeing black ones though.

Good idea...

lol .... I think I'm gonna see what people think and build a set that are more than mock up to get a better idea of look ... If anything I'll just leave the plastic I made and roll with it ......god the one fukin thing I hate about the blaster though is the stupid plastic heels

Edit: So I think I got it, I'm gonna just do this left side and make a mold to bang it out. I'll wrap all the edges and still use the plastic as a backing plate with the fender sandwiched. The plan is to wrap the aluminium, I have some super thick black vinyl or I was possibly thinking a black grip tape could also work and ward off any false kicks etc.... if it gets nasty i'll just peel and replace. I'll update with pics as I get it done.
