my brother bent my spindle and my tie rod.... so now hes gotta buy new 1's... any1 know how much it should be for those 2 parts?

You can probably save some dough by buying them used.
I know, depending on what side you need I might have one in the garage. They're extra's and I'd let them go cheap. Like, $20 plus shipping cheap...
Which side and do you have a pinch stud or castle nut lower ball joint? I have to make sure I have the one you need...

ummm.... on the front wheel i think i have a castle nut..... and i need a tie rod for the right side and a spindle for the left....
I think I have a pinch stud for one side and a castle nut for the other (extra stuff I've collected) but I know I have two tie rods.
Just make sure of which style spindle you need and I'll see what I have out in the garage.

umm... how can i tell.... i know that my front wheel lugs look like castle nuts, theyre stock from factory in 1998.... but ive never seen pinch studs so im not sure... if u want i can put a up when i get home of the wheel nut
no no, the lower ball joint mounting.
If look behind the brake backer plate where the spindle mounts to the a-arms.
The upper ball joint is a castle nut type. The spindle has a tapered hole and the ball joint shank is tapered to match the hole. The piece that sticks through the hole in the spindle has a hole drilled cross-ways through it for a cotter pin. A castle nut tightens down against the hole in the spindle to fully seat the tapered portions together and then the cotter pin keeps it from backing out
The lower ball joints had two different types. A castle nut, just like above and a pinch stud
The pinch stud ball joint is a round shank sticking straight up through a straight hole. The back (inner most portion) of the mounting hole is slotted and there is a bolt sideways (pointing from the front of the quad to the back) on the spindle mounting hole that "pinches" the spindle mounting hole closed around the straight shank stud. There is a small groove in the stud that the side of the bolt passes through to align the assembly so the bolt has to be completely removed before the spindle will come off of the lower control arm

Dude, are you SURE the spindle is bent? I saw your other thread and it looked like maybe it was the top a-arm.
no.. thats what i think.... my spindle looks fine.... looks like either the upper or lower a arm....
