I have a 2000 blaster. The whole quad was re-built, I started it up and tried to ride it and it was acting like it was too rich. No matter what I do with jetting it wouldn't change anything. Its like it has a rev limiter sat at 900 RPM. Ive come to think that it might be an electrical problem. Bike revs fine in neutral, but once its under a load the bike doesn't want to do anything. If anyone has any advise please get back to me, you can even text me at 248 762 6095. Thank you for your time :o

come on guys i need help am sorry am a slow taper if you tell me what you need to know i can tell you

I bet your problem is in the TORS system. This is a set of interlocks that will disable the igntion system on the bike if the throttle sticks open, of if you try to ride with the parking brake on. What year is your Blasty? Check the 10th digit of the VIN # on the frame if you have to. 2002 and older Blastys have a little 'black box' under the hood with a 3-wire plug going to it. Try unplugging this plug and see if it runs better. There is also a plunger-type switch that attaches to your parking break mechanism up on the handlebars. Trace the wires from this switch and unplug it temporarily at the harness. See how she runs. If the engine works as normal, replace the bad switch or just remove the TORS outright...
