need help with decision!

I am new to this and I am looking at a 2000 or a 2001 blaster and the guy wants 400 but I think I can get him to go down, sooo here's the problem, it wont start and he thinks the intake valves are stuck open, or needs new rings,

I was wondering if this would be a good buy or a project I could do with friends, because I am helping my friend rebuild his warrior.

It doesn't have intake valves could need a top end rebuild if compression is low, you could do with doing a compression test on it pal

It seems like a good deal. It's always good to try and get something for a lower price. A compression test would be a good starting point to finding out what's wrong with it.

A top end rebuild will cost around $200

Like I said. Start with a compression test first. If the test is good, then we can move on to other things for you to check.

Look in the DIY section there are a few how to vids. To start you may need to borrow a compression tester that screws in to the spark plug hole
