need help with carb

Just wondering if anyone is running the 28mm MIKUNI flatslide carb? I switched from the stock 26mm round slide and it was running great with a 290 main in it. Now it seems like i should be running around a 190 main. Does that sound right? I figured if it was flowing more air, it would need more fuel. I'm stump and really don't want to do a plug chop if my main is way off. Is there someone here that can help me? thanks guys.

i would agree, more air = more fuel, just start way bigger and work down to be safe, if your too rich it'll run like chit on top, and being you just did this you should be able to tell by feel and sound when you get close to the way it used to be
but plug chops are the best way to tell

if im not mistaken you use the same jets as the stocker right??? if so i would go up a few sizes from where you left off and if it feels real good , go up till it doesnt and back it down one size. hopefully im not completely wrong. GOOD LUCK!
