Need help, splitting a engine

Recently bought a 00 blaster. Tore it apart and the skirt is broken and fell into the crank. how can i take and split the crank without taking off the fly wheel, because i dont have a puller at the moment.

you really cant, gotta get a puller first. and a case splitter.

Well, if you have an absorbent amount of ingenuity and can make your own tools, it could be feasible....but that would be like building a house with a stone and set of mules.

Tools are relatively inexpensive at Rocky Mountain ATV.com.

For the price of a lefthanded metric die to make the outside of the puller you could get several pullers

Ebay has some flyweel pullers from 10-30 dallars.And a crank case splitter for about 60.A repair and maintenence manual from 28-35 dallars.

You will definately need a flywheel puller for that because theirs srews holding the cases together behind the flywheel

you can do it with only a flywheel puller if you really want to
