NEED HELP!! NO SMOKE OUT OF EXHAUST!! Tors QUESTION ALSO!!

Hey guys i need some help!! I bought a 93 blaster that wasnt running, cleaned it all up and started in two kicks, runs great. The only thing is im not use to oil pump system, or torsr. My question was that there is no smoke coming out of the exhaust, is that normal i dont want it to blow on me. Also the tore wire on top of the throttle system is not even hooked up or anything and still idles fine???

Can you guys tell me if everything sounds normal..

the disconnected tors wire means it was probably removed thats a good thing they tended to screw up. and the lack of smoke out the exhaust is probably lean jetting

what jetting should i run?? I still have the oil pump hooked up. It still runs really good. I have been reading and they say to disconnect the oil pump all you have to do is take out the gear is that TRUE??

theres a little more to it than just removing the gear there is 2 ways to do it do it yourself or buy a blockoff kit and install it. removing the oil pump is a really good thing to do. and jetting depends on where your at temperature elevation and the mods you have

i perfer 32:1
see if that helps, and also check your jetting
your plug should be like a dark brown cardboard color

how would i do it myself?? I only have pipes. and the temperature is regular california weather

should i not run it untill i change the jets?? Cuz it runs good but i dont see any smoke out of the exhaust and it makes me nervous cuz its a 2 stroke. lol

Does it smoke when you first start it up or rev it up? It shouldn't smoke a ton but it should be noticable.

ya some oils burn cleaner then others.

Drain you fule tank and mix up some premix. That way you will know it's getting oil. I Would start taring into the carb just yet. these pumps are known to fail! If it hasn't failed it just a matter of time. I wouldn't ride it any more untill you get some premix in the tank!! Lack of oil or worse no oil in seconds can turn you blaster into a 300 pound paper weight.
