Need Help: Clutch arm and Carb crearence problem

I have a 35mm carb and the lever hits it. I know people use reed spacers to solve that problem. But I'v heard that reed spacers don't work very good on blaster. I was wondering if any of you had any other ideas on how to fix it. I guess if it comes down to it I'll just have to use one.

You have to have the carb up and down so the floats work right.

The reed spacer is the easiest way to go. they dont add power but the dont hurt either.

yup i run with a reed spacer for this same prob, and i have noticed no diffrence what so ever

I've been wrestling this same prob in my head. A builder or two have actually said that you do in fact lose power, but its such a small number that you don't notice it, you would think that it would improve the velocity of the air/fuel charge but who knows if that's benificial. Anyone ever done a clutch arm mod?
