Need gearbox help!

PM sent with my email, send them to me and i'll post the pics when i get home

i'm stumped, only thing i know that even looks like those parts are the backing plate and rubber cushions between the clutch basket and gear, but how would they have come out/off and end up down in there ??
and the rubber cushions do not have holes in them ???

Yeah I don't have a clue the gearbox locked up and I was thinking the common gear selector shaft we had one there and went to put it in and these bits fell out.

Thanks for the pics awk

mr. oconnor says thats the counter balance shaft gear ,plate, and rubber buffers, just like the clutch basket has, as you see.
it is held together with 3 rivets, which let loose,
ken says he inspects and resets them on every motor he does if he finds them loose.
and that you got very lucky it didn't wipe everything out,
you need to pull that clutch basket and inspect that, and all gears for collateral damage.
you will need a new counter balancer gear minimum.
and of course a good flushing of everything (tranny too)
to remove all the shrapnel

I was just going to say counterbalance gear. But Im a day late.lol If you have a hard time finding one i got a few.

Thanks alot ill get the clutch pulled out and clean all the parts what's best to clean them with ? And is there any good disassembly vids ?
Thanks again

It is not a pretty sight when that gear pukes itself.

If that's the only damage is the gear, consider yourself lucky. I don't know if on mine the gear took out the bearing or vice versus, also damage to case, and minor nicks to clutch/crank gears.:o

I/maybe all would benefit from what Ken does to the gear. This might be a very important preventative maintenance procedure when someone takes the clutch cover off. I really don't want to pay $70+ for a new one, but can't afford to have a used one fail.X(
