I'm having a problem with a 2005 Mercury Mariner. Have an ABS light on with codes saying no signal from BOTH front sensors. I tried to look it on line and even asked on a Ford forum with no real help. I replaced both front sensors and the right side axle to fix a broken tone ring. Checked the left side tone ring and it looks fine. Cleared the codes but they come right back.

Do not know what the codes were. But ...very rarely do both sensors go bad since they are on separate circuits. Sounds like more like a wiring problem or an ABS module shorted / gone bad. Fords Dealer NGS tester will show what is bad instead of replacing good parts. It does this by showing you each of the 4 sensors in real time as you drive, reading voltage and mph. If you are good with a volt meter and a repair manual check the wiring first.

Thanks for the posts. Haven't had time to work much on it. I'm prepping 5 cars a week plus doing sales. I'm getting ready to get set up with the All Data program at work.
