Without sacrificing ride height, in the sense that, i dont want it to sit any higher than it already does. If anything id like it to sit lower, and have a lower center of gravity. These things are so top heavy and goofy. Has anyone tried any kind of trick to accomplish this? Possibly drilling out the new bottom mount in the 400ex rear shock, like an inch higher up the bracket, so that it sits lower? I hear the 400ex shock makes it sit higher?

aaaaahhhh deerrrrrrrr, <(see what ya went and started again)
even the noobs on here know the answer to this question, everyone knows the 400ex shock is the way to go with ken oconnors bushings, sits the same ride height, is tons softer, and yes peeps have drilled the hole a little higher, but IMO that weakens the mount
and if you think a blaster is top heavy and tippy....learn how to ride !!!!!!!!!

unfortunately, for you all, im already in the process of widening it, with spacers up front and a shee axle in the rear. Im still looking iinto this Ken O'Connor fella. I never saw his advertisements, nor was his name ever this big when i joined...And of course, AWK, I can ride fine, i dont ride the blaster much anymore since i got a BIG BOY toy(the ever great yamaha twin cylinder 350). I need it to be better suited for my girls riding. I want her to be safe, thats all.

Gonna widen it, do some suspension, and engine mods, and call it a day. Shes not craving speed or a monster HP bike. I just think its a turd....then again im comparing it to a banshee...

the Oconnor racing bushings have been talked about a lot lately, they make the mod really really easy.

mine actually sits higher than stock with the 250r rear shock, and with the shee axle, and the spacers up front, it still feels pretty good, but i'm probably going to be lowering the whole thing when i start really gearing it up for MX

listen dude, if you have a problem with blasters, sell it and buy something else for your girl. Yes agreed, the banshee is a better bike, but really now, no need for the attitude

Hey jahrastapark south africa not talkin sh*t there are other people talkin sh*t so i would get off his case man you can just use a thinner bolt for bottom without drillin out bolt
