I just bought a 400 rear shock and kor bushings but didn't buy the bolt for the top with the bushings, thought I could use my old one but I guess its to fat so im just going to buy one from home depot that fits and uses a locknut,

what im asking is can someone tell me the length of the upper bolt that goes through the top shock mount please and thanks in adavance

shoulda let ken supply it !

1/2" longer than your stock one should work to allow 1/4" extra each side for the bushings.
you'll need one with a smooth shank long enuf and prolly have to cut the threaded section down to length,
do not run one with threads in between the bushings/shock mounts

yeah I would if I cud! but I didn't know I would have to lath the stock one down,

what was the total length of bolt I will need? sorry blaster is at gramps house other wise I would look myself

no lathe needed, put nut on, cut off with sawzall, hacksaw or wafer wheel on grinder.
remove nut to clean threads.

i can get you a length tomorrow if nobody else does
