My throttle cable doesnt match

My throttle cable doesnt match at the carb!! it has a smaler end to go into the throttle setup on the carb. excuse me for not knowing a the proper terminoigy. itsthe right cabe from yamaha. its a 98 blaster i just bought off a friends son. does this mean there is a diffrent carb on there then stock? the part number matched a 98 blaster i even looked it up myself. someone help pease!!!

update.....the throttle cable that i took off has a diffrent part number!!! does that mean the carb isnt stock?

get us pics of the carb, could just be a stock carb with a "TORS" delete cap ?
in which case you'll need one like this.........

does it have the big box on top with the wires going into it ?
or a regular carb cap ?
does it say mikuni or keihin on it ??

Mikuni i will get pics tomorrow. this kid wouldnt tell me anything he did to this. i have no idea, from what i understand there was alot done

that throttle cable u directed me to is the one i need!! matches exactly.
