its the 4.8 , 293 cid . my next mission is getting a 19' camp trailer and i will never sleep on the ground again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cool man, the 4.8's get retarded gas mileage for a truck, i know some guys that get 18-19 mpg consistantly.


i have a 5.3 and it pulls a loaded car trailer like a dream, not sure how the 4.8 will fare with a camper thrown behind it

I'm looking at the superlites for a camp trailer jayco makes the one i will buy I plan on adding the load assist rear airbags to keep everything level and chip the truck for more hp and torque I'll haul the quads in the bed and only fill up on water when I get close to where I am going

instead of a chip, look up blackbear tuning on the site that i showed you. way better than a chip

gotta love chevys. nice truck man. with stock tire size the 4.8 should be ok. but a friend of mine has a 4.8 with 6in lift with a 3 in body lift with 37 in supper swampers and that thing is a dog. he has to run the crap out of that thing just to move lol

if you want to make some stupid power with that thing look up diablosport predator programmers they make the best gas programmers out there my buddy has the same truck and he bought one and its stupid fast for a baby v8
