my new ride has arrived

dude, congrats on the purchase, good price for us here in PA.
first pay some attention to some of the mechanical things that need a little attention, that were already mentioned, like that air cleaner, thats nasty dude, and has to be taken care of soon, dirts gonna get in your motor, id just get a new one, any of the aftermarket ones for around 25 or 30 bucks will do, and oil it properly too, then get them shocks turned around, possibly down the road when you learn a little more, do the oil block off and mix your own gas, (type in "oil injection blockoff" in the search at the top of the page)
as for them brakes, they could need bled, and possibly new pads????
but as for looks, it just needs cleaned up a bit, maybe a little touch-up paint on some of the silver frame n bumper for now, and clean them torn stickers off, then a little armor all on the plastics, dont get any on your seat, unless you have kung-fu grip, haha
it'll clean up good for ya, keep us posted, and ask us anything, we'll help ya out
im all for the PA riders meet, just gimme a few more weeks to get this cast off, then we gotta find a place thats central to all of us????

just ask away, right here, the more input the better, i know a good bit, but not everything, and i've always said "2 heads are better than one" so the more/different input you get the better, then just sift thru it all and see what works for you, no one on here is gonna let you get bad info
pm me anytime, im on here alot, since i cant ride.... broken leg

Definitly in for a PA meet. That would be awesome! The is the first forum I've been on where a good majority of members are located in PA.

Just tell them that he offered you some candy from his van. They should be cool with it. Haha! Welcome to the forum. You'll have fun and appreciate your blaster much more after you tinker with it and learn more about it. Very rewarding hobby, in my opinion.
