hmmmm im liking that elevator part

Yeah , I imagine a platform , a pair of 1-3/4" to 2" all thread rods , 4 guide rails and a 2hp electric motor driving the 520 chain to sprockets to raise and lower it . it would be kinda slow , but would have a large lifting capacity .
