And if I take you to Mid Ohio in a race on a road course, you would lose to a lowly stock Honda Civic since you are heavily, have a higher center of gravity, and have no weight centered over the rear wheels.

Building things in straight lines is boring to begin with. On top of that, 1bad442s car would put your "modified" truck to such shame.

Don't try to convince me a modified truck will beat a modified car at anything that involves a road.

Why would you modify a truck? That doesn't make sense. Why try making it something it isn't?

yeah if i modded my truck to the extent he has his car and then some, the truck would be ridiculous, u need to go back to school...

I personally have four in the drive way. Hers 03 1500hd Crew Cab(grocery getter) Mine 96 Ram 1500 4x4 and and 82 Jeep CJ7. Let's not forget the brute tht gets me to work every day 5500 GMC Heavy Equipment Field Truck. I'd like to see how your car handles 19,600 lbs of tools oil and parts day in and day out for five years now.

It's not badass. It has since lost it's ability to go through a field or haul stuff reliability which is about the only use a truck has....in other words, he wishes it was capable of what a car can do. I bet it gets pitiful gas mileage and struggles for it's life with traction. It's just some crazy guy that thought it would be "cool" to mod a truck......for what I reason I can't begin to understand. Hell for all the money he wasted on the truck, he probably could of picked up a real vehicle like a used C6 vette and been much better off. It goes fast in a straight line........whoop dee sh*t. That's like you buying a Busa instead of your bike.....it's worthless for anything besides going straight. If I wanted to beat those ETs by going straight, it's not hard.
1: Get a beat to hell Chevette
2: Get a 350 engine
3: Slap it in the Chevette
4: Add a few mods
5: Voila

All my tools, oil, parts are in my garage in tool boxes and shelves. To each their own I guess. If you need it for that, then at least that's understandable. Don't see the need for 4 trucks, but oh well.

Dude it ain't the car that's the fastest, its he who has the most money is the fastest whether its a car or truck unless your too stupid to understand that. While I do agree that if a person spent the same amount on each the car would be faster but who gives a shiat some people just wanna be different and not have the same car as the next guy. Ill bet whatever it is you have of a car ill blow past you hauling a 20 ft gooseneck loaded down with wheelers flipping you off as I pass you in my f250 yep I said my 18 mpg diesel, ill also be willing to bet im putting out 5 times as much torque as your ricerocket is horsepower. :o. I think were all getting tired of your expert opinions since you know everything about everything, you don't come put your opinion in, you come in and tell everybody how it is and then keep coming back letting em know they are wrong. You didn't last long at e2s with your expert opinions and I don't imagine it will here much longer either or atleast I hope:D. Anyway nice ride dakota!!!

Cars benefit: Speed, Handling, Gas Mileage, and maybe easier to race?
Trucks benefit: Hauling ability, hella fun in mud and off road situations, more power, That general tingling in your nuts when you blow by a loser ricerocket (which you are likely jealous that you will never experience this feeling due to a lack of nuts: see justin bieber in the dictionary). Because you lack the experience of tingling in your balls then we have no evidence that proves you are a man, will you finally reveal that you are a tree hugging woman. Thank you come again...

First off, where is the ricerocket comment coming from. I hate douches in their riced out civics more than you will ever know. Now if it's somebody that owns a civic, I have no problem with that. They are reliable and economical cars and very good cars at that.....way better than most "american" crap.....which just adds to the irony since the Civics are actually made in the US in Ohio.

It don't matter how much money you dump into a truck.......you will never reach a level a car will. This is the equivalent of me saying "Well if you dump a ton of money in a utility ATV, you can beat sport ATVs"..........yea.......if I take a renegade 800 and throw 5 grand into it, it will beat some ATVs in a straight line and maybe even some in the trails, but will you ever get it to the point where it's beating modded 450s on an MX course?...........NO. The exact same concept applies to trucks. This is the simple difference between a car and a truck. Saying a truck can be more performance oriented than a car is just as absurd as saying a car can be more off road oriented than a truck. 8-|

Your diesel makes a lot of low end torque.......yay......what about it? You need to torque to haul the truck's fat ass around and whatever it is hauling. What's the thing redline at? How much hp? You are taking the VERY narrow american mindset of "bigger/more is better", which just makes me laugh even more considering you own a blaster in a 2 stroke forum and should know better than that as it is already.

Your truck really goes well...........I'd love to see it take a lap at Mid-Ohio. 8-| You would be spanked by a lowly Miata with a tiny 1.6L engine. :D

Hell I probably couldn't even find any "facts" for it if I tried, because it is widely known COMMON SENSE. People don't go out of the way to prove common sense. I doubt you will find too many google topics on people proving the color red is red.
 
LRD if you really wanna start smashing the reliability of American cars then go ahead and try. Because you know what, how many Jeeps from the 80s and 90s are still on the road, how many Chevy, Ford, and Dodge trucks from the 90s are still on the road?
You wanna pull out the crap argument uh well lets see here toyota for example throttle sticking brakes not working massive recalls. Yet American cars just keep getting better and better while people finally start to see the truth that Toyota sucks. Chevy Cruze brand new car see it everywhere already people love it. Chevy Impala and Malibu still relatively new and see them every place you look. Obviously the "crap" American companies are doing something right. The new big trucks are owning everything out there I can't even count how many I see a day, but the yota trucks I see less than 5, same with the Nissan trucks. You noticing something here LRD? The proof is in the sales and the amount of "crap" american cars still on the road today
