You will never see 31 inch tires on any 4x4 i own. 27's maybe. I enjoy the smooth ride of radial non aggressive tires as well as the performance. I dont do the snorkle stuff either, thats what my boat is for.

Hell, that's where it's at down at busco! 29.5" tires with aggressive paddles tromping down through 3 foot deep soupy mud! Doesn't get any better than that...
Got a couple selling around me for 1600, my father was thinking about snagging one so he could come out with me and my brother.
Dude, completely my feeling too. I mud and trail ride with a CanAm Outty 500. I need to lift it for more ground clearance, but I don't want to pay to upgrade to the 650/800/1000 front suspension to get away from my front end struts. X( I thought about getting a bigger one, but I really don't need it, haven't gotten stuck without getting high centered and I've never been late for the redneck party.
