WOW! I could probably type 10 pages of review easily, but then who would really read it? So I will get down to the point. I started with a pile of sh*t. Tore the engine out of it, completely disassembled it , including removing all bearings and seals, as I was going to attempt to rebuild myself after all I built my 351W motor in my Bronco so this should be a piece of cake right?. After reading thread after thread of how to's and tolerances, then finding out I need to practically replace everything inside the cases as well as the cylinder and head, and getting burnt on some deals. I talked to a few of the builders on here got some quotes, saved some money, then heard of a "new guy" that has outstanding service, quick turn around, and won't try to tell you to get this or that to make your motor run, I decided to Give him a try, hell if Awk, who I barely knew at the time but new of his reputation, trusted him and was more than pleased that was good enough for me. So off my parts collection went and I have to say I sent him a collection, but I packaged it real nice marked everything, as if he didn't know where it went, then let him know it was coming (expected date).

Shortly after, He contacted me numerous times by phone, to give me progress updates and some issues that he had found that needed corrected, like my cases halves needed lapped, I think thats what it's called, the cylinder needed bored and honed, it should be matched to the stroker crank for the best usable power of the +3 which I didn't know, also ended up blueprinting my motor, giving me some head studs as my vitos were too short no charge, and on top of that unparalled outstanding support for the next three weeks after my motor was shipped to me and I was trying to break it in.

Now for the ride report- Long time coming, Still have to get another carb as most of you know but when it was using a borrowed carb and jetting close that baby would fly. It snapped my neck back in all gears and we must of hit 60+ going down the road on the last trip there- telephone poles were looking like a picket fence. I'm so glad I decided to go with that +3 and Ken's port/matching engine work, This will get updated when I get a new carb and coil for the final report. and I will have a decent Video of it screaming then too- But man, it has soooo much ass from 1st to 6th that I was amazed, let's just say my son was able to hang close to Awk, who is the craziest son-of-a-biotch quad rider I ever seen with tons of experience! I wish Ken would of been able to hang out to see his hard work pay off! Borrowing a qoute "no one will ever touch this engine but KEN OCONNER RACING! That's the truth!

Thank Ken, Jess and (Tarmo the tomahawk) for all your hard work and patients with me, hope to see you guys again and this time we will ride and race not work! I:I

nice review by the way i was about to buy a 300mm oko carb till i herd your probs

Thanks- I'm not saying this happens to all of them but I have all the bad luck man, if something will go wrong it will for me! BTW it's 30mm a 300MM would be bigger than my motor!

Seems like Ken gets all good reviews! My 30mm works great... and now my blaster does not wet itself when you leave the gas on lol.

sounds awesome. If I ever have the money to get some actual motor work down, I think ken will be the guy my motor goes to, till then keep up the good work, and we want PIX!!!!!!.

Kens free basic diy porting vid is very good to, I did mine from the vid and the it has way more power. thanks for the info Ken

I have soo been wanting to do this, but I need to order new gaskets(should have done it when ordering a new clutch gasket, but I didn't think about it) and I would have to find a dremel. Once I do though I'm sooooo doing it, till I can get the money to send it out and get it done right.
