I just bought a cylinder with a new sleeve in it from a guy online. Oops. It does have a new sleeve, but the ports dont line up right. For example, i have 1 1/4 intake ports instead of 2. How do i turn the sleeve myself?

it will need to be pressed out and you'll be very lucky if you can get it put back in. were did you buy it? you try to get your money back?

to tell u the truth i really dont kno. u can try heating the outside of the block and cooling the inside where the sleeve is and see if it expandions difference between the two is enough for u to pull the sleeve out. good luck!

Is it a iron sleeve pressed into a iron sleeve?
Or is it a iron sleeve pressed in to aluminum?
I am wondering if the sleeve turned from not having the proper press fit or it was not install correctly.
I might be able to help you out; PM me
You might be better off cutting those sleeves out and converting it to a 240cc kit. Anyway PM me and I will try to help you out..

seen that many times ,theres not much option at this point other than porting to matc heverything up unless its really bad then it would need tossed or bored over and resleeved as mentioned
