well i barely began my rebuild so i figured id post this picture until im ready to start my build thread. but cut my swinger in half put two pieces of 8in rectangular tubing in so that its buried in each side 2in at least. +4 extension and i moved my shock mount forward and down slightly to give me a little better travel. should hold up very nice. i decided to paint it black and clear coated it.

full build to come soon... B)

Looks good & strong! Good to see ya tried for some more travel ... cleaning off the orig mounts is a pain in the a$$, ain't it!

Well I didn't reuse the old mounts... I used some stronger steel tabs I cut to shape and drilled holes on the press... I just buzzed the old mounts of with a plasma cutter

yeah it should be real strong its very thick walled steel. plus i put a couple gussets on the rear side of the shock mount. and each side of the swing arm as two supports that run from the origanal swinger across the extension to the other side they look like this <===> to prevent twisting bending and cracking
