My CT240 compression test

again your wrong!!!!! cutting the head down involves milling material off the bottom of the head raising compression what u do if not using a spacer is cut 2mm into the head dome not take it off the gasket surface 8-|

i dont know if bronc's motor is straight out the box, but he was running race fuel all weekend at the "awk mt. ride"
 
now i get it!!! lol on topic my vitos 240 was around 170 and i was running a mix of 110 and 93 octane. vitos told me around 170 you should start using a higher octane. so unless the compression test was off a bit i would say its time for some rings, however if its still running good you could just keep on riding it. i know a couple times i took my motor appart and it was running fine. kinda regreted it a little cuz then i didnt have anything to ride... i had to make sure it was gonna be able to handle me at busco.
 
and if its been making that noise for a year and a half its quite possible it was honed wrong when it was brand new i woulld check piston skirt too wall clearnce when u pull it apart
