my badass looking light!

i cutom mounted one 55watt halogen driving light and thought i would share

the way i mounted it was by drilling a hole in the middle of surface where the old one would slide in. then i used a bolt and a locking nut becuz when i used a regular nut it vibrated loose.

this kinda shows where i drilled the hole

really good!!! there was a kid that chose not to have a light and he ended up hitting a tree becuz the private trail that we were riding on is verrrryy dark

its not very noticable it blends in and my buddies had no idea until i told them or until i turned it on.

hey dude did you do your paint job yourself with spray paint or take it to a shop to get power coated or something? im curious to how its standing up to wear and sh*t. also, what type of paint, how many coats and any clear coats?

ha i powdercoated it myself at my brother's friend's shop

i beleive it was like 2 coats of powder and one clear i don't remeber its withstanding abuse and has yet scraped off at all powdrcoating is very tough paint

I'm sure its posted somewhere, but what voltage lights can you have on your system w/o burning something up. I removed my headlight thinking I would replace it w/ something later on.

um if u want to run two driving lights u need to change the bulbs to 25watts which is what i'm told but if ur running only one light u can leave it. the oen i'm running is a 55 watt.
