my 96 blaster compression is 90psi

would this make it not want to idle..tors is dissconnected,soaked and cleaned carb, and i can play with throttle wide open to keep it going for a mon the quits.
 
If its really 90, rebuild time. Do you hold the throttle wide open and kicked till the gauge needle stopped rising ?

ya and it went up to about 95....my piston seems to have some play in it,, so im taking apart ,,rebuild time a guess..i have new piston on the way and i already have a set of rings..

With a compression of 90, there must be some wear in the cylinder.

It may pay to measure the cylinder to see if it is within specs.
