Well i got it all together and took it on its maiden voyage yesterday and its awesome!

Theres a ridiculous amount of low/mid and still screams up top!

I still have the stock carb on it for right now but as soon as funds are availible ill put on a keihin 35mm pwk and after talking to ken a cpi or shearer pipe.

It does run out of thump in the upper rpms but ken said it was the pipe and carb but all i can say is if this things this bad ass now i can only imagine it with the new carb and pipe.

Idk if its the short wheel base since its not stretched or the ridiculous low and mid but i had a hard time keeping the front wheels down through 3rd gear and im a big guy (6'3 240lbs).very fun to ride now.

That is awesome. Congratulations. Did you get yours ported too? I just bought a blaster that needed a top end so I put in a 240 sleeve in the stock cylinder. Right now it doesn't have any special porting other than to clean up casting flaws, and I have got to say th ebig bore blaster wasn't really that impressive, coming from a CR250. Do you think it would make a big differnece to get a wildcard port job also?

I followed kens vids on porting and just did as he instructed and all turned out well.

As for coming off a cr250 to a blaster yea its a whole different ball game.i feel like that after riding my bros rm250s then riding my kdx 200.

Idk enough about the aftermarket companies to tell you who to go with but i will tell you ken oconnor would be my first choice the guys super nice and more than willing to spend lengthy times on the phone answering questions and is a wealth of knowledge.to explain it better all ive bought from him so far is the 400ex bushings and gaskets but to talk to this guy and hear him go into detail answering questions you would have thought i funded one of his kids through college.look around the forum ive not seen a bad post about his products or his work that says something.

But as for the 240 and the sst im impressed but ill give you a better idea after i get back from badlands friday.

glad to hear you like it as for a differnt pipe in the future i would go with a cpi or vitos i just think people should run big bore pipes with big bore cylinders

you werent impressed because you just got the sleeve in a stock jug. Most 240 kits have updated jugs and intake and exhaust port styling to increase power and airflow.

good to hear..let me know when your ready for a swingarm..hahah

Well to be honest ive been kicking that idea around alot how much for a + 4 or maybe even a +6 what would you recommend?

Theres a few blasters on here hive seen with +6 and they look awesome but does stretching a quad do the same thing as on a street bike and ruin the handling except in a straight line.

Also what finishes/prices do you offer?
