How much more power will a better muffler give me?I have a DC one now.Any brand or type better?My motor is stock for now.Motor plans for 2010 are a FMF pipe/+4 timeing advance/Milled head/Reeds/Air filter upgrade.I don't want to wast my money on a better muffler if it is not going to help much over my DC muffler. do you mean you have a DG bumper? if so around here DG stands for "dont get" lol. i think you would notice a good difference even with the FMF.
haha sorry, im so used to all dg talk to be about bumpers. someone cut a dg apart a while ago and it was full of baffels like the stock one is. so basically DG is a shiny stock pipe. Also you do mean the head pipe right? the one that connects to your cylinder?

oh yeah man, there is nothing wrong with that. its called a silencer, once you get the pipe that hooks to you will definately notice a jump in power. I:I I:I
For now I'm getting an FMF pipe.A cheap used one.Later after I do more mod's Im thinking of going with a toomey pipe.
As listed in the other thread re: this topic, do NOT waste your money, as it seems you are on a tight budget as is. The FMF is not going to give you much performance, especially paired up with that DG silencer. If you were doing the entire FMF run(Fatty header and powercore 2 silencer) that would give a slight increase but again not worth the money, save your $$$ and spend it wisely, when the right parts come along. The Toomey B1 setup is the best bang for the buck, IMO. That DG silencer is doing nothing for your bike, and stay away from that EBAY Head, junk...
Again, as you have heard a few times, do not waste your money on simple no frills mods, save the $$$ for the good stuff, and do small bits at a time, it will be so more worth it in the long run, trust me... Just be patient and do it right, the first time...
