We just finished building jigs and tooling dedicated to valve seat and guide removal and installation. Along with this project came the purchase of more Neway valve seat cutters and a Kwick-Way valve grinder. I made this decision to improve our processes when performing 4 stroke cylinder head work. As we all know, this equipment is useless for a Blaster. With that being said.............I need a new project. I'm looking for a YFZ 450 that I can build up like I did with my Blaster. I'm telling you this because you'll soon see (probably today) the Bud Light Blaster for sale on Craigslist. I want to quell any rumors before they start.

1.I will continue to build Blaster engines, port cylinders, chamber heads, bore cylinders, build cranks, trench cases and lighten flywheels for these fireballs.
2.Your questions concerning Blasters are, and will always be welcome. I will continue to answer my phone 7 days a week.
3.I will continue to visit this forum at least once a day, help when I can and remain a supporting member.

I think the best way to look at this is another step in the evolution of Ken OConnor Racing. As soon as a business starts to get comfortable, it becomes a dinosaur. Four stroke engine machining is a huge part of this business and I'm aggressively going after a large part of that market share.

We've also acquired a bone stock Banshee that we'll be building over the winter. I plan on shooting tons more vids and posting what we're learning over this winter.

Good luck, Ken. Thanks for everything you contributed to the blaster community.

Awesome Ken, Just a suggestion though, you might want to just keep that bud light blaster for the hell of it. Understand moving on and the direction a builder must go ... but there must be a lot of good memories with the blasty, you always know what your doing but might wanna keep for the memories, who knows if you'll get what it's worth in sentimental value

Just curious as well whats the asking price, you might get more parting it out here, im sure a few are looking for a KOR fully built motor etc.

Good choice on the YFZ...they can be baaad. But IMO you should keep the blaster. It is worth a LOT more to you than whoever buys it.

WOW! Glad to see your business expanding , that's the only way to keep it alive nowadays! Good luck Boss! The only 4stroke motor i have is my daughters raptor 250. I'm sure you won't have any problems finding a 450! Rock on!

Ohhh so since your getting rid of the bud light blasty, You must change beers to so a 4stroke Moslon Build sounds great!

good luck boss, and don't forget....we can always experiment on my blaster if needed !!!!

@ paulie.....i doubt there's much this man can't do, he'll throw banshee cases in his bridgeport and have them back at ya in a jiffy
give him a call

Bet. Ill be hittin him up this winter - gottah have some kind of winter project.

Trenching the Banshee cases looks pretty straight forward. I can use the same jig I just made for doing seat work. How much will you be stroking Paulie?
I want to do a 7 or 10mil crank. I believe the 7mm crank is cheaper but at the same time ya kinda want to go big the first time around and save $$$$ in the long run.

awesome news ken, glad to see the business is growing and best of luck on the yfz build. After u figure out what works best i may just have to send u my yfz motor haha
