We just finished building jigs and tooling dedicated to valve seat and guide removal and installation. Along with this project came the purchase of more Neway valve seat cutters and a Kwick-Way valve grinder. I made this decision to improve our processes when performing 4 stroke cylinder head work. As we all know, this equipment is useless for a Blaster. With that being said.............I need a new project. I'm looking for a YFZ 450 that I can build up like I did with my Blaster. I'm telling you this because you'll soon see (probably today) the Bud Light Blaster for sale on Craigslist. I want to quell any rumors before they start.
1.I will continue to build Blaster engines, port cylinders, chamber heads, bore cylinders, build cranks, trench cases and lighten flywheels for these fireballs.
2.Your questions concerning Blasters are, and will always be welcome. I will continue to answer my phone 7 days a week.
3.I will continue to visit this forum at least once a day, help when I can and remain a supporting member.
I think the best way to look at this is another step in the evolution of Ken OConnor Racing. As soon as a business starts to get comfortable, it becomes a dinosaur. Four stroke engine machining is a huge part of this business and I'm aggressively going after a large part of that market share.
We've also acquired a bone stock Banshee that we'll be building over the winter. I plan on shooting tons more vids and posting what we're learning over this winter.
