Have you measured the displacement of that head? It looks to be at 24cc's still. There won't be any gain of compression with a 24cc dome.

i shaved down the ridge to get more claerance if you notice the stock heads have a ridge on them i have taken the ridge out to gain compression so it will be closer to the piston

Making a smaller squish band will not increase compression. If the squish is too small, the engine that head ends up on will knock.

it will add more compression than you would think by shaving the head you will gain compression and the piston will be closer to the head causing much more compression

i checked tht it does not knock when in the motor but according to my compression tester it still adds compression

Just a few questions...are you adjusting port timing or just cleaning up the transfers? When you do the cr125 reed mod since you weld the spacer on are you lapping the spacer plate? Are you chamfering the top and bottom of the intake to allow the reeds to open fully?

I do the exhaust port and port transfers and the holes on each side of the intake and witg the cr125 reeds I welded it to the fylinder yoy don't have to but I wanted to and I let the reeds open fully I d not stop them I let them open fully

looks like a lot more can be taken off there, you should get ken to do a cylinder, then use that for a guide. Takes some money to get that done but if you are serious then you will make it back

but the head is getting closer thus giving it more compression and making the motor knock people run flat heads and they dont knock i made sure mine didnt i ran this kit the other day and the bottem end and mid range power is amazing the tope end is speechless it wants to keep on going in top gear but down low it is really peppy and torquey
