motor swapping a blaster ( not tech)

streebike swap would only be good for drag racing, and for it to be good alot of modding would be needed, valhalla explaine dit in another thread, but that owuld be ana wesome swap hope he answers back

All motor swaps involve pretty much the same swap. You should just get the most horsepower for your buck.

street bike motors would be alot of fun, but then again most streetbike motors worth messing with are big and bulky and require stretching the frame quite a bit. It also seems that it would be very heavy being most are four stroke. 2-stroke dirtbike motors seem to be your best bet due to there compact nature and light weight not to mention many are equiped with water cooling and a power valve.

no street bike motor for me... atlest adirt bike motor i can keep on the low low on the lake and trails.. untell a blaster walks away from 250r's and banshees.. i thinkthe 465it motor is air cooled none power valve but it should be faster than the one someone did with a 79yz400 motor

swapping the stock blaster motor for the yamaha 465IT motor took alot of thought from having to adjust not only the front engine mounts and moving them up while still keeping strength. and then making a new mount along the bottom to give it an extra holding spot for the motor. not to speak the splicing of the front exhaust expansion chamber to the tail end of the stock blaster expansion chamber. so the exhaust would still mount on the motor but allow you to change your silencer with any other blaster silencer. another thing to think is gas tank clearance as if your tank melts well...... your fu**ed.....
