Yes it is screwed all the way tight. The spark plug is good I just replaced it and I mix my gas and oil.

You said that you leak tested, what areas did you test and how long did it hold pressure and what pressure did you test at.

Do you have a breather tube on the transmission and where does it terminate?

Could the handlebar excursion have kinked the cable in the roll over.

Racing idle is caused by fuel starvation, something not letting the slide to return to the bottom of the carb body or an air leak.

Is the air screw more than 1 1/2 turns out?

If you crack open the drain screw does a constant stream of fuel come out of the drain tube?

Is the float sticking up?

What is the float set at?

Is the petcock filter clean?

Did you turn the petcock on?

Is there enough fuel in the tank?

Having a similar problem with a stock 02 i just got this summer  In the middle of refurbing the thing... too many people take things apart and have no clue how (or are too lazy) to put things back together right. Put together a leak down tester from some parts from Menards (they had everything for it less than $30 btw) and am prepping for the test. Also bought the TORS removal and oil pump block kit. Well be getting it all installed this weekend. Ill come back after my finding's and post what all we did. Praying it is not oil seals leaking  Thanks up there Blaaster for the check list... got it printed and will go through it thoroughly! I'll Be Bock after I figure why we got a runaway!
