God this things pissin me off... First I broke my flywheel puller, then stripped the stator screws, had to grind them down and turn them out with a wrench,now the damn screw won't thread through the hole in the stator.
 
Ok, so I did my heat cycles and went to take it for a ride and when I was doing my heat cycles, the clutch lever was well adjusted, nice and stiff and when I went for a ride, after a minute, the clutch lever was all floppy, what the hell!???
 
the nut on the adjustment screw probably came loose. flip the quad on it's side so the oil doesn't spil out. then open the clutch cover and re adjust the clutch rod. put some threadlock on the nut before you reinstall
 
still telling you that you are making a mistaake selling the 04 because when you go to get rid of it nobody will want a 88 but they will want a 04 as it is newer just telling u motoman BEWARE
