Most any stock 2stroke is damn reliable. It's when you modify them that you make breakage or catastrophic failure more likely. However, keeping a 2stroke stock is a hard thing to do!!

The LT250 got my vote. I had one for 2 and a half years and not that I don't beat the sh*t out of everythign I ride but I think that thing got beat harder than anything....and I rebuilt it once during the 2.5 years that I abused it.

haha you shouldnt say that, my motor has never been opened up.
stock piston from 88, all i have ever done is cleaned the carb.
AND my oil injection is still on.
that means it has been working for over 20 years!

If you leave anything stock it will last longer, and matanance is a big factor. I run mine hard but also spend a lot of time mantaining it

relibaility comes down to maintenance although some need the design flaws fixed to last ..al lin all an untouched properly jetted stock banshee is likely the most reliable of those mentioned on the list

This isnt on the list, but if you dropped a snowmobile motor in a Blaster, mainly an older 90s motor, you could easily see 10-15 years and 10-20000 miles before a rebuild or any problems. That there is reliability. But that would also be a custom blaster, that will whoop almost anything you line it up with if you can set it up good.
