Check this out I was researching quads to purchase one came across this website and saw everybodys rides decided they were sick and picked up a 96 240cc w/toomey b1 pipes. After I had it for a week my bro decided to get a quad also he looked for a blasty ended up with a 97 banshee 350 stock that's needs a lil work he has bad compression and smoking like hell but yet he still can run with mine with no problem. The problem is I need mine to move and move fast what else can I do to mine to stay a step ahead of his? What are the best available upgrades for my bike? If he gets his working to full potential I don't think mine would hang. Thanks for any help

Dude that is way not good news I talked so much sht already lol. Im at work so il make this quick I hate that retarded bulky looking shee he bought I will not get one. But I need to be able to either get a jump on the low end or biotch him in the mid range not worried about top end so much. If money is not a problem besides going full drag is there anything I can do to at least ride his coat tails I'm also willing to swap engines.

well you can always put a bigger engine in, there are a few members here with yz400 motors in thiers. the best you can do to yours would be get a CT Big Bore kit, and a stroker crank and get the cylinder ported to match, good pipe and reeds, big carb. then you might be able to kinda hang with him lol. but thats over a thousand dollars in parts i listed. you have a single cylinder 200cc two stroke, he has a twin cylinder 350cc two stroke...... it just doesnt add up man haha I:I

Ok so with a 400 motor and knowing all the sh*t to make it fit I'm willing to get it done but I would like to know how the two bikes would compare both 350 and 400 being stock?

the problem here is if he wants to mod that banshee there are TOOOOOONS of things he can do to it but if he leaves it stock you will be able to put a whoopin on him lol. blasters are a sh*tload of fun and its amazing what that little motor can do but the bottom line is its still little motor and can only do so much.

ya man your blaster with a blaster moter wont keep up . Like 305 said he can barely keep up and hes running a ct sonic I think . That things putting out almost 40 hp , wich is about the most you can get out of a blaster moter . A modded shee can get past 60 easily !!! After you get your blaster to where 305 has his there isnt much more you can do engine wise . If you want to smoke that shee your going to have to get one yourself , get some pipes, porting, and cool head . lol good luck bro !

Just like the rest said bro once the shee is running good you dont have a chance.

Once your buddy rebuilds his Shee its going to rip. Once he starts modding it its going to fly.................

You will never beat a shee on a blaster unless your are a super good rider and he sucks and you race on a tight technical track. But in a straight line you dont have a chance. Have you ridden your friends banshee yet? You should, you might fall in love lol. My advice, go find someone with a warrior to pick on lol:D

dude a blaster is what it is, i think thier a ton of fun and anymore people just stare at two strokes like wtf is that, at least in my 4 poke infested corner of the world, it's great, as far as making it faster maybe look into strokin that 240 with port and head work, the b1 is a bad ass pipe but not a bb pipe from what i understand, what carb you running on your quad? you might not be pushin that bb hard enough, otherwise start investing in some suspesion and handle mods, except in a straight line handle is over half the battle, at least you've got that edge, your mods are way cheaper than his so go nuts, have fun, glad to see people are still so excited to be buying up blasters

there is alot to be had out of a blaster motor but you gotta know how to pick your battles with it and a shee is not a battle you will likely win. but on that note you can show off how bad ass your blaster is by giving a good run at it. you wont win but people will say "damn that lil bastard runs hard' and then you wont ever get somebody with a piped 4stroke to race you lol. trust me it's happened to me. i caint get a race to save my life

I agree, in the end a blaster will still be just that, a blaster.
But there is alot to be had out of it, alot more then most people realize..
