I'm looking to do two things with my blaster, race (amateur, just racing someone up the road, per say, or racing a cop to get away) and hill climbing (I want to do Beaverdale Hill Climbs next year, AWK you know what I mean) Whats a few mods that I could get for my blaster that wont rape my wallet, and still let me wheelie, and trail ride?

Porting is nice yes, but I want some outside work done to it, mostly a extended swing arm because I don't feel like having the quad come back on me on a steep hill.
And I'd like to try to make my blaster ALOT faster. My two friends have a KTM 450 and a TTR 230 (soon to be a YFZ 450X) and I want to be able to be right beside them, or infront of them, that and it would help when the pigs see me.
well that swingarm will set you back quite a few bucks... you could always build your own if you have the skills and equipment. ur gonna want to throw at least a pipe on that thing to give it some added power and a wider power band
you better I:I im talking BBK stroked and ported with a nice pipe, reeds and big carb. you can prolly make it happen for around $2000ish
............maybe ill pass....but seriously, what would help me climb, and race (mostly to outrun cops) that could happen for around.....500-800ish.
get your stock jug ported- 200
nice pipe- 300 get it used for 200 say
nice carb 80 used
reeds -100
use the rest to get a stroker crank installed and you will be able to beat 400's and totally keep up with the 450's I:I I:I
Well.......that should make it hard to the cops to catch me. If only I could hold the blaster wide open without grenading the engine.
