Misinformation vs. Information.

Well, if you haven't already removed the injection indicator light, that's the first sign the oil injection system isn't working correctly.

Might I also respectfully offer this link:

"Not trying to be rude but getting rid of the oil injection can increase performance under certain conditions. I'm not positive what it mixed at but I believe it was 40:1 but that's not important and different ratio's will effect performance when it is changed a lot "

Stock it is 20:1.

I also would kindly point you to the above link.

if i'm not mistaken, the oil injection warning light only alerts to low oil in the tank,
not pump failure/low pressure

Guys, I'm not looking for an arguement.
And I don't care if you remove the Oil Injection or TORS on your Blasters.
Really don't.
This place is very visible on the internet, and I just would caution on throwing arbitrary advice out there that relates (especially) to the TORS system.
Have a good day.

I'm not wanting to argue either but I thought you were taking his post out of context to prove your point. From what I have read people do the TORS removal as a reliability improvement. I took what he was saying that there are several mods that can be done at home with minimal cost that improves reliability, performance and handling (TORS removal, air box lid and rejetting, flipping front wheels respectively). I don't think the problem comes from bad advise but from people being too lazy to research, get enough information together and follow directions. Rarely is there a question asked that can't be answered in a few minutes of searching the sub forum related to the system.

i dont see or understand where this thread even went but two each there own. That dosnt mean any of it it misinfo at all. the matter of fact it removing the oil inj gives piece of mind thats why people remove it, it dosnt add performance like stated above it just is what it is.

the tors has been known to bugger, and sometimes blasters are hard troubleshoot when things like the tors are acting up. again it is what it is.

growing up i noticed misinfo and would ask my old man which he would state the truth. not much after he would teach me a lesson about something called a BS meter. most people dont have one but as soon as you get it you can understand how it works........ know what im sayin>?

i agree with the guys who give this advice out. they do it honestly and truthfully. and they wait till they have tried it or someone else has before they tell another. this forum isnt to hurt anyone, but to help us all build great engines. and to be honest save tons of money from other places who take huge amounts from customers just for simple jobs on quads for instance maintenance. and thats something easily for us all to do. so i thank everyone for their advice and it has help me alot better than ebay or any site for selling parts buying parts and how to use certain parts. and i appreciate these guys help and i hope this stays as a great site for blaster owners to come :D

Some people choose to use the oil injection and thats fine but theres absolutely no reason to say misinformation about disconnecting it. Among many reasons to disable it , one is to have exact lubrication on every tank. Good luck on your oil light saveing your day as well.

The tors delete is a great mod in my opinion to eliminate all the bugs and headaches it has caused many mechanics. A young child or anyone has no buisiness on a quad if he or she cant handle it or don't know what to do in the unlikely case that the throttle does stick on them. Who says the tors will work anyways. Proper training is key to letting your young children ride a quad and part of that training should include sticking of the throttle reguardless if the tors is connected or not.
