mini bike/ go cart

Dates are way off, my camera sucks. Pictures taken last summer.

Custom made from the ground up. Rigid frame is made with 3/4" think wall running. Engine cc's I'm unsure but it's a Briggs 8HP w/ electric start. Most of the parts I used to build came off of an old garden tractor....seat, wheels, steering wheel and engine. I had the axle, gas/brake pedals, brake caliper/rotor and front spindles sitting under my bench, then I got bored one day.

I made the frame by taking a 4x8 sheet of plywood and laying out the dimensions on one half only (2'x8'). After I had my width to fit a typical axle and length based of my height and was happy with the design, I used a jig saw to cut the half out and then transfer it over to the other side to make an exact copy. Later I layed out placement for the rear axle, seat, front spindles and engine on the template. Everything was done in half, then the frame was welded in the center. This helped keep everything even on both side. My intention was to make the rear with suspension and keep the front rigid, but it was getting technical, so I went with a full rigid frame.
