IMHO anyone who chooses to ride without the protection of a helmet is 50% brain dead.

oh yeah, she'll chase ya like a rabid dog everytime, thats why i always hit the ground runnin !!!!

no doubt, Awk. Last time I was in that situation, after I hit the ground, I started purposely rolling along the ground as fast as I could away from where I knew the quad was coming. My quad rolled over twice as it attempted to chase me down........

After being mowed down and having my head run over by my own runaway Banshee three years ago (and walking away thanks to having worn a helmet), Im living proof of how much damage a helmet can prevent. I also wrecked my Blaster on the trails last Fall and was thrown off at 30mph. Again, thanks to a helmet, I walked away with just a skinned knee and arms. So, unless Im just putting around the yard from shed to shop, you can be sure Ill be seen on my Blaster and bike with a helmet on.
