Be careful, as you will need to make sure that you are using compatible oil and you will need to re-jet. Methanol I have heard is also hard on rubber fuel lines, o-rings, and some gaskets. I hope someone else chimes in on this that is more knowledgeable.
Dont think youre supposed to mix it with gas, but i may be wrong. Its deff not bad to run it on the Blasty, just make sure your engine is setup for it.
Right. pink hit it on the head. You need a special set up to run meth or alky, and mixing the two ( gas and meth ) is a bad idea.
mixing the two together is fine to do you just have to make sure you use fresh high grade gas and i good oil that mixes with alcohol. the other thing is alcohol WILL eat fuel lines and carbs if you dont drain them right. your best bet is to get alcohol resistant fuel line and drain your carb right after your done riding.
my neighbor has a quadzilla with a big bore kit that runs on methanol, he says its a real pain in the ass on something you trail ride with so he is switchin back to gas.

gas and methanol dont mix, methanol will make a make run cooler then gas but theres some draw backs....methanol burns twice to three times faster then gas does and also attracts water like crazy, in order to run it you have to have your carb set up for it and perge your bike after ever run, itll rust ur bearings crank and eat away at seals if not perged, if ur trail riding and not a stict drag racer then forget about it, it'll add 10-12 percent in hp but burn twice as fast i can go through a 5 gallon can (meth) in my drag banshee in a day easy.
