depends on who does the port job, you'll most likely be limited by piston speed

i think max would be 10-11K.
having the crank and piston trued and balanced helps out. your exhaust system makes a difference. so does porting and intake.

Pistons begin to gall to the wall at just under 4k fps (feet per second) If you use the factory stroke of 57mm that equates to just about 10,500 rpm.

Most porters tune for about 8,000 rpms to keep the piston happy.

For drag bikes one missed shift means piston destruction but that doesn't matter because they need to run right on the edge anyway.
