Well decided to use the silencer. I ended up gettin gutter mesh and makin a tube riviting it together. Put coarse and medium grit steel wool in there. heres a couple pics while doin it.

No, I had my porting done by a private engine builder kind of like Ken O'Connor. Arlan Lehman was the brains behind LRD(Lehman Racing Development) and after LRD shut down, he opened his EXCLUSIVELY operated shop now called LED(Lehman Engine Development or design....can't remember). Hell, get a LED sticker on it. It's probably Arlan's design regardless.

lol this pipe i was a tad disapointed tho it has no first or second gear power really with my mods and my tall ass tires 22inch
and where did you get your carb bored and rifled at cause i think im goin that route since it will be easy to find parts and jets etc also know more about it

That pipe looks good!! If your disappointed that the pipe dont have enough bottom end why dont you adjust it to make the expansion chamber longer for more bottom end??????????

trust me its a sob to adjust like damn near impossible i think since i have huge tires ill prob just get a 12tooth front sprocket but i really do like the pipe
when i do wheelies slow i give it gas it bearly comes up and when i hit high rpm's boom it come flyin up

Did you jet the carb for the new pipe, and did you try to swap the reed cages. If you tried to swap you reed cages you may have a air leak... Both can cause power loss.....

its jetted pretty close and no havent even put in the vforce reeds
its not something broken its just on my old pipe i just went as slow as possible leaned back and gave gas. This pipe is diff 2 gear is were it likes to be and goin alotr fadter at high rpm's thats all

What's your jetting setup? A lot of people can just taper bore the stock carb to 28mm or 30mm.

IT had way to big of one in it before i put the exhuast on and i didnt rejet becuast ik i was gonna have to when i got the pipe anyway so i put the pipe on rode it around the yard plug looked decent and tommorrow im gonna do a plug chop to see how lean or rich i am and ill go form there

awk is right, this pipe is in a pipe sootout in the June 1996 3&4 Wheel Action. It was 2nd with 19.7 hp at about 6600 rpm. the stock pipe is17.2 hp at about 7000 rpm. The LRD pipe also used a 30 pilot jet instead of the stock 32.5.. CAN THAT BE RIGHT A SMALLER PILOT JET? It also used a special LRD needle in the #3 position and a 290 main jet...
