i was thinkin how ppl are sayin that the are both good topend pipes so i was lookin at them both the shape and where they expand. If you look hard enuf the only diff is the side there on just though thats cool. has anyone else noticed that too.. if you dont get wat im sayin look at them both.. RANDOM i know..I:I

Yeah, toomey is a left bend whereas lrd is a right bend. they both give about the same power though, so in my opinion i would go with the cheapest one.

toomey is good for what it is.. a left side pipe... the lrd is a right side..... the bends in the pipe, size, lenght width, diamiter, so many things effect a pipe

compairing the toomey to a lrd is like compairing a cr80 to a cr500... there not even in the same ball park

I gotta add tho that being right or left bend does NOT affect performance at all, this was proven by a builder as well. Think about it, a shee has a left and right bend pipes, and they both work the same. What it comes down to is the size, lenght, diameter, etc, etc.

It is true tho that the right bend's ARE of higher quality, but not because they bend to the right. A true advantage they give also is that your engine runs cooler because the header is not over the head of the jug blocking air flow and heating. The right bend leaves the jug open to all the air flow.

And to the thread...please do not compare an LRD with a Toomey lol.

a shee is twin cyl..... so thts why it doesn't matter on a shee. left bends are longer and aren't as good as a right bend whoever says left bend is better than right bend is obliviosly not thinking right!

nvm noones goin to understand wat im tryin to say because i dont even know how to say it to make you understand. but im not comparing anything and if i was how is it like comparing a cr 80 to a 500?? lrd or toomey cant be that much better than each other. ive hear on this site that there topend pipes.

wat i was sayin pretty much is that if the lrd was a leftbend pipe it looks like it would be the same shape in a way.. im a wired person so who cares.

what i was trying to present with the shee argument was that to what direction the pipe is bended does not affect the performance, but the lenght, diameter, etc, etc etc. is what affects it. In the blaster making it bend right shortens it, thats why its affected.

i undersatand what your says.. there both top end pipes.. BUT the lrd makes more power... if you search around kennedys fliker he has dyno sheets on all the big pipes a pipe coul come out the front bumper, and bust a u turn than a hair pin turn and make good power its all the how the pipe is designed to work with the port timing and exhaust pulses/ scavagine to make power in a certain rpm range
