Lots of white smoke and poor performance. PLEASE READ!!!!!!

If the rain stops today I am going to have my son ride the thing till it fixes itself or blows up. I let the neighbor kid ride my son's ltz400 this weekend and it was way to much quad for him so I have to get this thing going.

I had this same problem and changed the seal. This helped but did not fully fix the problem. My guess was I had a build up of tranny oil. I basically road it like nothing was wrong for about a week and a half. It got increasingly better until it eventually burned all the tranny fluid out.

we have the same prob and It also feels like loss of power (hesitation) at first throttle then it picks up to normal but just changed seal and oil now to run the heck out of it I guess till the smoke is gone but what about hesitation?

Well we took it out and rode the quad. He ran over a tank of fuel though it and still smoking like crazy. I got to thinking well maybe the oil is way to rich and I put the exact same gas in our little yz85 and well it was fine.

I am not sure what went wrong later in the day since I have not broke into it yet but it just died and I pulled the plug because I figured it was fouled. And there is all kinds of oil on it. Cleaned the plug so we could get back to the truck and it did it again almost to the truck. Pulled it again and the inside of the plug was filled up with what looked like tiny shot like out of a shotgun shell. So we pulled it back to the truck and have not done anything. I am lucky and found a buddy of ours is building a crf150 powered blaster and has a fresh motor for sale that he will make me a good deal on.
