If your ball joint is loose tightening bolts will not make it any better , Also Replacing ball joints on the stock blaster arms are a Job ! , It requires cutting and welding and allot of work , Your best bet is to find a stock pair of arms to replace the bad side you have
Here is what I recently came across and may help you, it may not.
I took my arms off a old blaster, The frame is junk. But I came into the same situation when taking them off and apart. they want to spin, so you cant tighten or loosen up. the ball joints.
I have some ideas, I have not done this yet. and likely wont need to.
However. i can share what i was thinking, it may help you.
I was gonna take a die grinder, a dremel w grinding disc should work also.
Gring a slot into them and use a big flat head screw driver to try and hold them. But my feeling was it would not work well.
My 2nd idea was to drill a whole and thread tap, so i could put a bolt into it to hold it from spinning with a wrench, why I tried to tighten or remove the ball joint nut.
Other than trying a big pair of vise grips that lock to try and bench it, to hold it, and try turning.
Those were what i was thinking of trying and doing.

You joint cups are worn out. I'm guessing that your ball joint boots are ripped which will accelerate the wear on them tremendously.
Your options are:
Cut off the old ones and weld in new ones trusting your life with someone elses welding skills.
Buy aftermarket arms new or used- they have replaceable ball joints.
Do nothing and risk dropping the ball out of joint while riding and possible losing control.

I used to come across the spinning tie rod ond when was a mechanic full time,if you pry on it pushing it into the ocket while runnin a 1/2 inch air gun and some pb blaster,they do come lose.No need to cut them ever.n thats 15 years doing it.Or you could take a cuttoff wheel and slot the bolt then spread it n it will fall off,buy a new castle nut,easy peasy.
