Ok guys I am new to the forum. I just got a 96 blaster and went for a ride yesterday. Everything was great at first then I lost power and started rolling white smoke. I shut it right down and got it home. After looking around I see that my case cracked down by the tranny oil drain. I sealed it up with some jbweld and filled it back up with oil. I let it sit for a few hours and its not leaking. I started it up and its still smoking really bad. I searched around and found crank seals could be the problem but I also saw that a cracked case can cause it? Any help would be greatly appreciated

im sure summin else broke to. jbweld will probably work for 1hour then nope,you need new case or professionaly welded...
Do a leak down test before you rip it all down. Mght find other airleaks in it as well as the cracked case, or crankseals.

Boo! That sucks! Hope all goes well! Keep your money for college. Lol. Although I love my blaster, they are money pits. But whatever it takes to ride!
I hate to burst your bubble, but those cases need to be repaired or replaced.
As good as it is JB is not going to be a permanent fix where oil is involved.
