Looking for Throttle Cable with 45° elbow?

You must be right. I can find them in ss but with no 90 degree fitting. Call motion pro and see what they will charge to make multiple cables. Then we can get a "group buy" and save some money and get the cables we need and like. I'm in. lol

i'm seeing $66 for a custom cable in the armor coated SS., gonna call them soon, still a couple weeks out from being able to ride here.

Do you guys think they would give a "group buy discount"?

i'll ask when i call to find out about ends needed for my terry cable throttle box to 34K carb, and what added length needed for +2/3 steering stems

I dont think that kit has the right end for the thumb throttle.:(

i don't think i want to learn to build cables, with a brass set screw ball on one end, for the same $ as a custom built motion pro SS braided.
plus it looks like the 45's thread/jam nut to the carb cap like i'm going to scrap.

I would like to find molds for the cable ends.then building emwould be cheap and easy

i had a guy here local back in the 90's melted a new end on one like that on a sunday while i watched, and my 200x was sitting in the woods with a broken clutch cable.

This is the cable that came with my carb!

I got my throttle cable # 01-0604 today!
The cable is thicker, and about 5" longer with a 45 degree elbow at the carb end, and at the throttle box end it has a inline cable adjuster. The only problem with this cable is that the free length is about 1" longer.
I DID fit this cable up to the blaster and it DOES work, BUT i had to use well over 1/2 of the adjustment on all three of the cable adjusters.
I think im going to try to cut about 1" off of the cable, and find a solder on 6mm Barrel wire end-fitting to silver solder on.
Does anyone know where to get a 6mm Barrel end throttle cable fitting?

I think bronco has ocd. lol If you are only using 1/2 of the adjustments then you have nothing to worry about. That cable will never stretch enough that you will lose all your adjustment. Just use an extra ty wrap. :)
