I started a full rebuild a few years ago and never finished, now I’m looking to finally complete it. I need a little advice on what parts I should use to get the best performance; the head was port and polished by Kennedy, larger piston (don’t remember size), stroker crank with stuffer blocks. What carb, exhaust, reeds, air filter, reed spacer or anything else should I get? Any advice would be great, thanks!

Trinity, Toomey, DMC Alien Exhaust?

Also, it will have extended rear axle, extended swing arm, Extended front A-arms

Need to know where, what terrain you ride, trails, woods, drag ect.

Where you want the power, up high or low/mid.

Sand, water, mud ect?

Low/mids, you cannot go wrong with a DMC Alien exhaust system.

Stock 26mm carb, dual stage reeds and a Uni foam pod filter.

Tops, a right bend, 35mm carb , same filter as above.

To get even more power with options a re chambered head would be good.

Right bend? would that be a Trinity? Do I need a reed spacer or is that a waste?
Thanks for the info.

I recently got a trinity pipe off of ebay and I absolutely love it in the trails, way better than my fmf. you just gotta learn to keep in the powerband and it will scream like a wild animal

Trintiy, f7.

If you fit a large carb you will need a spacer to allow clearance.
For low/mid between reeds and jug, between reeds and carb for highs.

How does this set up sound;

Keihin 35mm PWK, V-force 4 reeds, reed spacer, UNI foam pod filter, Trinity or DMC Alien exhaust.

What jets should I start with?

DMC Alien will be better with a smaller carb, the 26mm stock one will work fine with it.

Will talk jetting when you choose which pipe.

So if I went with everything in my last post and the trinity exhaust, would that be a good set up? Would you do anything different? My stock carb is destroyed so I need a new one anyway, might as well go bigger. Sorry to ask so many questions, don't want to spend the money on the wrong stuff.

If you go with that trinity setup i would totally consider some port and head work. extending the rear swingarm would help with your steering as well.

Triniy pipes are rare finds.

matter of fact, any right bend is hard to find on ebay used. trinity will cost you an arm and a leg. but should be worth it from what i have heard.

yeah right bends arnt cheap. but i found my trinity for $125 on egay and if was definitely worth it is WAY better than my fmf. you could buy a new exhaust if your budget would allow that.
