this is the cconversation me and the delear had on yahoo,

The Blaster maybe faster since it is a two stroke. The nice thing
about a
4-stroke like the Raptor is that you do not have to tune it up as much
and
it requires less maintenance. They do have plenty of performance parts
for
the Raptor 250. The Blaster is no longer made, but that does not make
if
worth anymore right now, maybe in another 20 years. Let me know what
you
think.

wouldnt it be worth more than 2 grand cause they dont
make any more and its a 2006. but the only way i could
tell which one is better by seeing which one is faster
plus people on blaster forum are tellin me that the
blaster is faster and it doesnt require that much
maintence as a blaster cause it is a 2 stroke and it
is cheaper to work on. do raptors have a lot of since
its the first year they made them

wow the blaster is valued at 2500 for an 06 mint or good condition so hes really wrong their if you go on kbb plus not making it anymore makes it worth more plus if you have aftermarkets on it brings in up to like 2700-2900 depending on what you have on it

ok, a 4 stroke has 5 major moving parts if i'm correct, a 2 stroke has 3 major movin parts.

4 stroke= cams, camshaft, valves, springs, crankshaft

a 2 stroke= crankshaft, conecting rod, piston

more can go wrong with a 4 stroke than a 2 stroke.

only thing that has to be replaced over is the rings,or when the bore wears out of specifications
