lol stroker crank adds cc's?

ok so i was on the phone with a california shop. i think it was called pro-tec well im tryin to get jets for my pwk 33 to jet it for my bike. so he said wat do you have done i said well i have a port and polish redesigned head. pc pipe no airbox lid. vforce 2 he says so did you change your cc's in anyway and i said i dont think so he said ok so thats all u have done correct i said oh wait i also have a 3mm stroker crank and he so oh so u did change the cc's i was like really he said yea by like 20-27 cc differance? i was like wow thats alot i never heard that before. so i just wanna know is he correct lol. cause i never heard this b4

simple math kids
A cylinder with radius r units and height h units has a volume of V cubic units given by

now what is your bore? cut that measurement in half which will give you "r" the radius, now you square that, take it times pi, and then multiply that by the length of your stroke. stock stroke is 57mm, a +3 stroker adds 3mm to this totally 60mm.


(pi is roughly 3.14)

Yea a stroker crank definitely adds some cc's, I don't know if its as much as what he told you though. Same idea as in Chevy v8's they put a 400 crank in a 350 motor to make it a 383 stroker.

mine is 66.75 x 66.75 x 60 x .0007854=209.96392725

It works how brandoz28 said, just don't forget that your bore and stroke is in mm, so you will have to convert to cm to get the final answer.

then thats why i couldnt figure it out.i tried for like 10 min.the way i put up seems a little easier no converting mm to cm

Yea lol...if you do it the way brandoz28 showed just divide your answer by 1000 and it should work out then.
