Little spark/ wiring help

I took the metal cap off the spark plug cus it wouldn't fit the coil and yea that was the old stator I just got a new stator today with 4 wires and put it on the bike now I got spark..

well it should fit
unless it is aftermarket
what type of plug is it?
what stator did you buy exact name?

That stator picture says ground additional green wire I only have 4 n they all plug into the harness

ok well is it an origional stator?
probably if it is only 4 wire.....unless someone cut it off lol either way it will work
but if it was 30 bucks brand new then forget about it:)

It might be aftermarket idk didn't say it was a cheapo coil that fits blaster for my year.. The spark plug is a ngk b8es n the stator is brand new its a caltric

i only recall 1 other person buying that
not sure if it ever worked?
i can look for the thread, but
if you got good compression, clean carb, free flowing gas
and spark....then the next thing i would do is get a origional stator, cuz they work the best
and you will never figure this out until you know it is a working origional stator.
you can ohm everything out to see if it is within specs...except the cdi you cant.

if you suspect the stator to begin with then it is still the stator...48 bucks wont cut it :D

Yea I have enough compression because I checked and I pop started it..for the free flowing gas how do I check that..and for the carb

I did a compression test it was reading 100.psi just tried pulling it with my truck to pop start it and it just kept bogging when I was giving it gas just didn't want to fire.. Checked my spark plug n it was black

well you got alot of problems then
100psi needs rebuilt it might start but it should be at 120psi or more
it will need a top end like soon
unless your gauge is faulty or you did not hold throttle wide open and kick till it stops rising.
Of course you should leak test it first before you proceed with any of that :)

1 more thing i want to say:)
that base cylinder nut on there is a joke
and it is missing the bracket for the clutch cable.
then the carb bolt is about 1in to long :confused:o_O

someone rigged that thing to no end...
depending on how much you care about it?

well we are making progress:)
you have low compression dont expect a bunch of power
but at least you got it started congrats:)

Yea man I was tuned up wen it started I spent hours on the spark problem lol I can't believe that stator tho never again..but wen I'm riding it it has power but its not running right like its choppy like there's bad gas in there n it wants to bog n run slow.
